SERVING THE COMMUNITY:

As we are fed in worship, we are called to go out to feed and serve the community.
Community Suppers:
The first Monday of the month from 5-6:30pm we offer a free meal to the community. For van transportation to and from the suppers, contact the Templeton Council on Aging at 978-632-4592.

Templeton Food Pantry:
On the last Sunday of each month we include non-perishable food donations as part of our offerings. In addition, we have a yearly community food drive each spring. To find out more about the Templeton Food Pantry and its parent organization, the Templeton Council on Aging, visit their website: http://www.templeton1.org/council_on_aging.shtml
HOPE (House of Peace and Education in Gardner):
Our church has been a strong financial supporter of the work of HOPE for many years, with church members serving on the board of directors and as volunteers. Learn more about how HOPE serves at risk children, women, and families from their website: hopegardner.org/
Baldwinville Nursing Home:
Church members have a long connection with the non-profit Baldwinville Nursing Home, as staff, volunteers, and financial supporters of the activities at the nursing home. To learn more about the Baldwinville Nursing Home, visit their website: baldwinvillenursinghome.org/
We also serve the community in many other ways, including: Christmas Baskets for Templeton Headstart Families, and support for the Cottage Hill Academy and the on-going mission work of the United Church of Christ in providing disaster relief across the globe, partnerships in support of economic development, hunger relief and justice work, as well as the work of the larger church in offering hope to help change lives.
